I really enjoyed the training session. Alex is a great trainer who truly puts his heart into what he does. I’ve rarely had such a dedicated and engaging trainer at a training session. He actively involves the participants in the session and keeps you engaged with his lively style. Finally, a training session that doesn’t put you to sleep! I hope Alex keeps his wonderful, open, and lively style in the future. The only negative feedback: Personally, I think 9 a.m. is too late to start the training. I would have preferred 8 a.m., but that’s just my personal opinion.

The training was very good. Mr. Bremer provided us with a lot of information and created a pleasant atmosphere. However, there was an extremely large amount of material to cover in just three days, which had to be worked through quickly due to the short timeframe, and it was sometimes a bit difficult to keep up with all of it so fast. In some places, perhaps a few more concrete examples could be included to improve understanding, and in one or two instances, a short and concise definition or translation would have helped me instead of a very detailed explanation (since there was already so much technical information to process). Otherwise, though, I really liked that there were always a few quiz questions built in to briefly apply what we’d just learned and test ourselves. We could ask questions at any time, the course materials were comprehensive and helpful, and overall, the mood and atmosphere of the training were good.

The ITIL training provided an excellent introduction to the world of ITIL. The trainer proved to be a true expert who left no question unanswered. He skillfully integrated the participants virtually into the in-person event and consistently fostered a positive atmosphere. The two days were packed with high-quality content—a third day could just as easily have been put together. The guests at the boarding house wanted for nothing. While the breakfast was a bit limited, this was more than made up for by the generous meals provided during the training. Overall, the training program is very modern and varied in its design. It’s nice that the individual modules are kept short, so the training doesn’t drag on. The training software is quite well designed. At the end of each chapter, there are learning exercises where you can test what you’ve just learned using multiple-choice questions. However, some of the questions are worded awkwardly, so it’s not always clear what they’re actually asking. It would also be desirable if there were more opportunities for participation during the training sessions, so that you don’t just have to listen passively for hours on end, but can immediately reinforce your knowledge through active participation. It would also be nice to have a speed control feature for the spoken audio, so that you can, for example, play the audio faster when covering certain topics.

The training was very helpful; I feel well prepared for the exam and for my day-to-day work. Alex is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s talking about, which I think is absolutely essential. Unfortunately, during the training we were prepared for and focused on the wrong exam (People Cert vs. Scrum.org—the exams are similar but not identical), and it wasn’t clear to me that the exam is in English while the course is in German. I think the course description and internal communication between the trainer and the organizers need to be improved. I also find it a shame that the presentation materials developed during the live sessions can’t be shared. You do have the workbook, but if you didn’t write down a particular piece of information, you can’t access the “live” materials that were developed with the trainer. That’s not Alex’s fault, though—it seems to be a general policy. Alex did offer, however, that we could contact him at any time via email or WhatsApp, which was very kind and not something to be taken for granted.

I thought the training and the trainer were outstanding. Even though the topic was very theoretical—with no hands-on exercises—Alex’s presentation style kept things from getting boring. The numerous examples illustrated the explanations very well. Alex has a wealth of knowledge and draws on his extensive experience to provide many examples. This brought the topic to life. Well-planned training (including the scheduling and length of breaks; selected sections and focus), ample opportunity and time for questions, and a practical workbook. Trainer: Great! Clear language, well explained, with many real-world examples; despite the virtual setting, there was good and clear communication with the trainees. I’m very satisfied with the training. Compared to the in-person ITIL 3 Foundation training I took many years ago—also at Serview, which wasn’t bad—this was even better.

During my career, I haven't attended many training sessions, but I can say that this Serview training led by Alex was by far the best one. It was well-structured and covered the most important topics. It’s worth mentioning that Alex played a huge role in keeping everyone engaged—he asked questions and also inquired about our companies’ ways of working so he could better adapt the training to us as a group. Most importantly, he was always polite and ready to answer any question (and his occasional jokes were great for breaking the ice). Overall, everything was amazing! In my opinion, Serview’s online training provides a very good overview of the broad field of IT service management and helps participants understand the relevant topics and terminology in context. Since I deal with almost all of these topics in my daily work, I was generally able to make the necessary practical connections quite well. Nevertheless, I would have found it helpful to have an additional illustration of the theory using a single, consistent example, even if that would have made the training even more extensive.

He also provided many practical examples whenever needed to deepen our understanding of the theoretical, often abstract concepts.
