The Cameleon Story:

Even though Cameleon has only recently entered the market, its history goes back quite a long time.

As early as 2020, the idea arose within Pagenkopf IT-Consulting GmbH (PITC) to create a universal digital process platform and populate it with simple yet powerful processes.

By 2021, we will have carefully selected the appropriate technologies for the front end, back end, database, and deployment, always ensuring that they are modern, future-proof, and high-performing.

The first version was then ready by the end of 2021 and underwent extensive testing.

During the testing phase, it quickly became clear that the documentation of test results and the need for enhancements had to be handled in a structured manner.

This was initially addressed using simple tickets within the platform, and has since led to Cameleon developing its own agile project management module.

Bit by bit, the experience of PITC's consultants—gained from hundreds of process and tool implementation projects—was incorporated into the solution components for ITSM and ITAM.

In 2024, the time had finally come: the solution was spun off into an independent software company, Cameleon Solutions GmbH.

Already in its first year, Cameleon was able to attract many prospective customers and clients who recognized the solution’s potential and appreciate direct communication with the manufacturer.
