The Leading SAFe 6.0 in-person training course was very structured and clearly organized. The trainer was highly knowledgeable, motivated, and presented the material in a way that was both easy to understand and practical. The numerous practical examples, which helped illustrate the concepts and enhance understanding, were particularly noteworthy. I would recommend this training course without hesitation.

The conditions for in-person training at Serview in Bad Homburg were excellent. Accommodations, meals, and recreational activities (e.g., bar, entertainment options) were great. The seminar rooms, including the technical equipment, were very appealing and functional. All Serview staff were courteous and helpful. The trainer was competent and always able to provide well-informed answers, even on challenging topics. Good time management. Good training materials. The training is highly recommended.

The training took place online on Thursday and Friday with a total of only three participants. The instructor (Andrea Kremer) is very experienced and knowledgeable, not only in theory but also in practice. This meant that all questions—and we had plenty of time to address them due to the small number of participants—could be discussed and answered, or at least referred to someone else. We’d be happy to do it again...

Thorough Preparation for Certification

During the training, the instructor provides a good insight into and overview of SAFe 6.0. The understanding gained there can be effectively put into practice during the exercises and easily reinforced. Of course, it’s not possible to convey and absorb such a concentrated body of knowledge within two days to the extent that it would be sufficient for certification without further effort. However, the trainer prepares participants well for the key points and explains how to study the materials in detail after the training to successfully master the topics and achieve certification. All in all, it’s a good training course with a motivating and knowledgeable trainer—a combination I can wholeheartedly recommend.

The training was delivered very well; it highlighted the key points and explained the connections between them. Our trainer was also very flexible in dealing with our specific situation: we were able to address specific questions and map definitions to SAFe. Great job by the trainer! The only downside was that distributing the materials via SharePoint using an MS account didn’t work at first. But we figured it out eventually. So, 5 stars for the trainer, 4 stars for the document distribution process.

Great course with a lot of content—but with the usual drawbacks of VLCs

The course was well organized. Moritz guided us competently through the topics with his pleasant manner. I found the anecdotes from real-world experience particularly helpful. The pace was just right. The course materials provide even more depth and are easy to read. Overall, the course covered exactly the topics I expected. What I missed was the general interaction with the other course participants. Perhaps the conference call could start 10–15 minutes earlier in the morning, for example, so that we could say “good morning” to each other and ask about the weather... Looking back, I wish the workload outside of the 2-day course (essentially 2 exams within 30 days, plus a lot of preparatory reading) had been more clearly highlighted in the description before I purchased the course.

The necessary topics were presented in a lively manner in a relaxed atmosphere. The participants’ numerous discussions and objections were encouraged, put into context effectively, and moderated well, greatly enriching the training with real-world experience. The trainer was well-versed in the course content, though it was noticeable that she lacked practical experience with some of the topics. (Which, given the scope of SAFe and the framework of the introductory training, was probably to be expected.)
