• Related Standards and Frameworks: An overview of the BSI Basic Protection Compendium and other relevant frameworks that provide an overview of threats as well as system and process components.
• Implementing an ISMS: A step-by-step guide to implementing an ISMS, including the application of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.
• Stakeholders and Requirements: Identifying the sources of requirements and stakeholders, and defining security criteria.
• Governance and Risk Management: A comprehensive review of governance structures, ranging from security policies to risk assessment and mitigation.
• Compliance: The importance of protecting intellectual property and personal data, and complying with laws and regulations.

There are no formal prerequisites for participating in our ISO 27001 Security Officer course. However, to ensure that all participants get the most out of the training, we recommend that beginners first familiarize themselves with the basics through our two-day ISO 27001 Foundation Training. This step will optimally prepare you for the more advanced content of the Security Officer training.

Participants who are already familiar with the concepts of ISO 27001 are welcome to enroll directly in the Security Officer training course to deepen their knowledge and expand their skills in the field of information security.

Please note that participants who do not hold an ISO 27001 Foundation certificate will initially receive only an exam certificate upon completion of the exam. To obtain the full role certification as an ISMS Security Officer, you must also successfully pass the Foundation exam. This additional step confirms your comprehensive understanding of the subject matter and officially qualifies you for the role of ISMS Security Officer.
