Great Workout

Thank you so much, Andrea, for the great training session! It was very engaging, a lot of fun, and I’ve learned a great deal. I was also pleasantly surprised by the hybrid format, which—from my perspective as an in-person participant—worked very well and didn’t disrupt the session (which, in my experience, is often the case). The frequent breaks, the repetitions, and the practical focus were all very well done, as were the questions posed to the participants. I have absolutely no complaints :)

COBIT Foundation

A framework is, of course, a rather dry topic—BUT Andrea has a very refreshing way of presenting the material and was able to connect the theory with practical applications. Personally, I also really like her voice and tone, as well as her way of speaking. She delivers the material very well.

A complex topic—a great instructor

For me, this is a very complex topic since I’m new to IT governance and am not yet familiar with the frameworks. So, while I understand what COBIT 2019 is and what it can be used for, I wouldn’t be able to apply it in practice. The instructor, Andrea, was great and tried to explain things simply. Maybe sometimes a little too simply, since the leap from very simplified examples to real-world application can be hard to grasp. Still, I would take another seminar with Andrea anytime. Even though it was an online course, she kept me engaged every minute, and the time flew by. I’d like to request that you send me a certificate of participation via email.

I learned a great deal from the training. Andrea did an excellent job of involving me in the sessions, even though I was the only online participant (the rest of the participants were on-site). There were enough breaks to help me stay focused throughout the entire training. The training is very hands-on. However, the training alone isn’t enough if you want to take the exam. You should plan to set aside a few days for studying beforehand.

She makes this dry topic engaging. Andrea explains the COBIT Framework in an interesting and enjoyable way. You can tell she’s passionate about the subject. The SERVIEW Education Center is a great place to learn; you’re treated exceptionally well, and there’s no shortage of fun. Public transportation access is good. Thank you very much; I’d love to come back.

COBIT 2019—Theoretical and Arbitrary?

Andrea showed us in a very inspiring way that COBIT 2019 is a well-founded tool that doesn't have to be theoretical or arbitrary at all. I didn't fully grasp its concrete, practical benefits until she introduced the Excel tool—but then I really saw them.

COBIT Training

The training session on COBIT 2019, led by trainer Andrea Kremer, was conducted as a hybrid session. One participant was in the room with her, and I myself was participating online. The material was presented very well. The trainer herself had extensive knowledge and was able to respond immediately to questions and provide good examples for further clarification. As an online participant, I felt included and supported at all times. The exercises were very good and easily applicable to hybrid meetings as well. Overall, it was an enjoyable and engaging training session that made it a pleasure to listen to and participate in. Thank you!

A charismatic and experienced trainer provides excellent training

After 2.5 years of lockdown, this was the first in-person training session. I’m very impressed with the trainer, Andrea K., who managed to engage me with the material, adapt to my needs, and take my learning pace into account (as well as that of the group, of course!). She also impressed me with her in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, allowing her to answer all my questions convincingly. That’s not easy in my case, and most trainers tend not to succeed at it. Andrea K., however, certainly did. The technology, the training room, and the entire location were wonderful for creating a good, professional learning atmosphere. Real added value for me and my job.

I actually very rarely give the highest score and often look for the fly in the ointment ;-) But overall, here’s what I can say about this training: - Training topic: very good - Training delivery (hybrid format and participant engagement): very good - Instruction / comprehension (trainer): very good - Location (Service Headquarters): very good - Overall organization: very good - Preparation for the exam: good - Training materials: satisfactory For exam preparation, a 3-day training session with more practice exercises might be better. Additionally, the exam-relevant topics and their weightings should be highlighted more clearly in the materials. I would have appreciated it if the two ISACA basic brochures (COBIT Introduction/Methodology and 40 Objectives) had also been included in printed form as part of the materials. (That was the only fly in the otherwise excellent ointment...)

Learning in a great setting with small groups

A very informative training session in a small group, where, in addition to the content and exam preparation, there’s plenty of time for participants to interact with one another. It leaves you wanting more! Andrea did a great job and answered all questions with confidence. A few digital games here and there would round out the format nicely. :)

A Little Structure

The workbook for cobit 2019 feels a bit half-hearted and is riddled with quite a few errors. Above all, it lacks the “from the big picture to the details” approach, which makes the structure a bit lacking The facilities are great—thanks for the wonderful learning environment at the boarding house. Unfortunately, the number of participants didn’t quite match the lunch service—though some participants were able to make up for it with side dishes.
