Excellent training

April 5, 2024 |

Sebastian spent three days teaching us the most important terms and concepts online, which prepared us perfectly for the training. The atmosphere was always very relaxed, and he drew on examples from various contexts across different fields of work. We’d love to do it again!

A very successful training session

July 14, 2023 |

I really enjoyed the training. The references to connections with other approaches, frameworks, and best practices were very helpful in providing a big-picture view. The pages for the exercises were very well designed to help us process the content of the curriculum/manual in a different way. It was my first hybrid event—I participated online. It worked very well.

Very well-trained and well-moderated...

...very Scrum-heavy in terms of content, though I understand that this is mandated by the IREB.

A subject that tends to be dry—presented as effectively as possible online, in a lively and engaging manner, with optimal technical support

July 3, 2022 |

The training content was quite extensive and included a lot of rather technical model knowledge—all of which simply “has to be covered” for certification within a tight timeframe. However, Thomas Marenich (training leader/coach) managed to strike a balance, making the material interesting and—as much as possible—entertaining through his dedication, by involving the participants and drawing on their practical professional experience, and by using excellent (illustrative) examples. I found the joint review of sample exam questions and the discussion of the exam’s logic in the context of certification particularly helpful. I feel very well prepared and have gained many new insights. The methodological foundation and practical significance of some practices from my daily professional life have become much clearer to me. In short:  for this online training.

The content is very good; it would be nice to have more focus on exam questions.

April 12, 2021 |

In terms of structure and content, the event was very good; unfortunately, the certification exam included some questions for which I didn’t feel prepared, or whose content and wording weren’t covered in the training. The content could be improved to better position the training as preparation for the certification. The facilitation and the way the content was presented were very good.

First-rate training led by a highly competent, experienced, and well-rounded instructor

April 3, 2020 |

The training content provided by IREB@Agile was presented in a clear and precise manner, including additional contextual knowledge. At the same time, Ms. Lopez effectively explained how the individual modules and training elements fit together and maintained a consistent thread throughout the entire training. Top coach—I’d love to take another course with her!! Feedback for IREB (even though it’s probably out of place here): The maturity level of IREB@Agile is still “infantile” and needs to be further developed by IREB. In particular, I find that there is a lack of concepts that go beyond generally applicable “procedural guidelines” and that combine and communicate the synergies from both worlds (IREB & Agile) more clearly and effectively, thereby making them more practical for real-world application.

Digital and Competent

April 3, 2020 |

First of all, kudos to Serview for offering digital training formats! Rute Lopes led the training in a very competent, clear, and easy-to-understand manner. It was especially helpful to be able to discuss the content with her beyond the learning materials provided and to critically examine the examples. As for the seminar’s content, I would have liked to see the organizational level and the individual roles explored in even greater detail. Regarding the content and learning materials, it also seemed at times as though the perspective of a traditional RE environment was emphasized too much, and some statements about the Scrum approach were not yet fully developed. Here, I would have preferred a more balanced consideration of different perspectives.

A very engaging course—very practical

November 22, 2019 |

The course was a lot of fun. With six participants, the group was the ideal size, and the focus was evenly split between IREB and Agile. The course materials were very well prepared, aside from one or two minor details. The trainer’s practical approach and broad range of experience—including with other methodologies—enriched the discussions, which had ample time to unfold thanks to the group size. The concept of working with flip charts was ideally suited to this training and was implemented very effectively by the trainer. The location, NH Hotel Messe Riem, was excellent. The refreshments—including coffee, tea, light snacks, and a lunch buffet—were top-notch. I would be happy to attend another training session with Serview.

Excellent Training

Excellent training—very easy to follow and paced just right. The two-day format makes a lot of sense, especially if you’re taking the exam right afterward. It exceeded my expectations!
