Over the course of the two days, I learned a great deal of interesting information about DEVOPS. I gained many valuable insights, tools, and tips on the subject. Many thanks to Radu. Two comments: The handouts should be in color. There is far too much material for two days. The training should be extended to three days.

DevOps Fundamentals & Leadership: Very informative and also challenging

Over the course of five days, I attended both the DevOps Fundamentals and the Leadership Training courses taught by Mr. Wagner. There was a lot of material to cover, but Mr. Wagner skillfully and confidently conveyed it in an engaging and humorous way. It was clear that he has a very broad and in-depth knowledge of various disciplines. Thank you very much for the five days—it was very exciting and interesting!

A Powerhouse

Our coach, Radu, covered an enormous amount of material clearly and comprehensively in just two days. He used many real-world examples to do so. This gave me better insight into and a deeper understanding of the very broad range of topics covered by DevOps. The training materials are good and facilitate effective learning. Overall, it was a good and comprehensive training course. However, I would have liked more time for reflection and client-specific topics.

A slightly different—but effective—way to structure a training session

Together with two other colleagues, I had the pleasure of taking Björn’s “DevOps Foundation” course. After our initial attempts within our company to introduce and implement DevOps in projects—and realizing that everyone had a slightly different (or no) understanding of it—we wanted a comprehensive introduction to the topic of DevOps, covering its core concepts, tools, methodologies, and more. This need was largely met. Björn’s style and manner of presentation were truly very pleasant. He also consistently incorporated real-world experiences into the course. I thought the idea of making the course a bit more “relaxed” or “different” with the help of the workbook was a good one. That way, you’re not staring at PowerPoint slides for 8 hours a day and forgetting to turn the pages. Filling in the blanks encouraged active participation. However, I would suggest one improvement in this regard: very often, the text to be filled in was simply on the left-hand or opposite page... In my opinion, it would make sense to remove these texts entirely from the workbook or simply move them to one of the following pages. The topic of “Automation and Tools” was, due to my personal interests, a bit too brief. However, this didn’t detract much from the overall impression. All in all, it was two very interesting, informative, and exciting days.
