Three Valuable Days

I really enjoyed the three days of in-person training. Erik did an excellent job of organizing and presenting the material. I especially liked the practical examples he shared and the opportunity to discuss topics together. The course materials complemented the training very well and are now helping me a lot with my exam preparation. I also felt very comfortable at the ExperTeach facilities! All in all, it was a very positive experience that I’d gladly recommend to other colleagues!

Practical Examples & Workbook in Color

Even though the Prince2 Agile Practitioner advanced seminar includes hands-on exercises, I would have liked to see practical examples used to illustrate the theory. The workbook would be easier to follow if it were printed in color, and using different colored pens for note-taking would also be helpful so that, in the end, all the materials are as well-organized as they were presented on the instructor’s slides. Alternatively, the slides could be made available in PDF format after the training is completed.

The training with Johannes was really fun. He covered the extensive material in the in-person training at a brisk pace, but without leaving anyone behind. He always answered our questions and shared a great deal of knowledge with us that went beyond the world of PRINCE2. There was no shortage of humor, either! Overall, I’m very satisfied and would highly recommend him and this training.

An excellent instructor and excellent course materials

The course was never boring, and even though it covered a lot of material, the instructor, Katja Bilsing, always presented the content in a way that made it easy to understand. Using the excellent course materials, she repeatedly provided helpful tips for the exam. You never felt overwhelmed or bored; rather, it felt like time flew by. The review of what we’d learned using the exam questions at the end of the course demonstrated just how effectively the material had been taught. I highly recommend this course, as I’ve rarely experienced such a high-quality course—both in terms of the instructor and the materials—in this format before.

Communicating the Key Facts

In my opinion, it’s a good idea to do some additional, focused reading of the AXELOS literature on PRINCE2 Agile, because quite a few questions on my exam referred to details that are mentioned only in passing in the AXELOS literature.

I really enjoyed the training. The course materials were very well organized. All of my questions were addressed. The examples were clear and easy to understand, It was also important that we had to complete the exercises within a reasonable amount of time (similar to the exam). The atmosphere was great, even though it was an online training session.

The instructor was great, but some of the training content was too theoretical and there was too much to cover in such a short time. It was difficult, extensive, and challenging.

I took the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner courses right one after the other—that is, over five consecutive days. The instructor, Thomas M., was great and addressed every question we had. I definitely recommend him! He was very knowledgeable about PRINCE2 and was able to answer (almost) all questions right away. A very good instructor! In terms of content, I found the training to be more theoretical in nature; I felt it lacked practical applicability and more real-world examples. I learned a lot of great theories, but I’m still very unsure about how I can or should apply them in my professional life. The “material” is very extensive and demanding in terms of content, so this training isn’t something you can just do on the side… while also handling work emails and such! You have to focus 100%, otherwise you’ll quickly lose track. The course materials are very well organized, as is the accompanying book. But there’s a tremendous amount to memorize. I’m not a fan of memorization. I’m currently wondering whether practically all of this can be put into practice. Fundamentally, there are certainly many good ideas, but whether I can actually implement or apply them in my normal, real-world professional life is questionable. Especially if you don’t work at an agile, young startup, but rather at a traditional, established company with a long history and many employees who’ve been there for a very long time. In terms of content, videos and more practical examples would certainly have helped with understanding. I also find the material too much to cover in such a short time. You have one year to take the exams (starting from the course), but it’s recommended that you take them soon after the course, before your knowledge starts to fade. Many thanks to the instructor, Thomas M., who did an excellent job of conveying the content (which I found very theoretical and dry). Compared to other continuing education courses I’ve taken, I found this one to be very comprehensive, challenging, and difficult.

Engaging, intensive training with high learning effectiveness

For me, this form of virtual training—consisting of three days of web sessions—was even more effective than in-person classroom training. This is due in no small part to the excellent instructor. Instructor: Lively, clear, pleasantly fast-paced, concise, and easy to understand. An intensive learning pace. It was a bit stressful trying to keep up and take notes, and that’s exactly how it should be—just like in college. That level of pressure is just right. I rate the trainer’s professional expertise very highly. Among the 16 participants were seasoned, experienced project managers. Even when faced with complicated, complex questions, the trainer was able to provide spontaneous, highly illustrative answers. Supporting Materials: Hallelujah! Finally, digital PDF materials. I’m completely paperless. I need all my knowledge in the cloud, on my phone, and on my laptop. Paper is worthless to me because I’m constantly on the go for work and MUST have my knowledge with me. Training Content: In terms of content, the material is comprehensive enough to prepare well for the exam. Unfortunately, there is very little freely available material on P2Agile online. You’re limited to AXELOS.com. Training tools: The GoToTraining platform is very well-suited. It has a chat function, a “Raise Hand” feature—everything you need.

Dry content presented in a lively way

A complex topic was presented in an understandable way within an appropriate framework. The biggest drawback: the coffee in the cups went cold quickly. The reception, content, handouts, use of media, catering, and rooms were all very good. Drivers may have trouble finding parking.

The Prince2 Agile Foundation Course Presented Effectively in 3 Days

Cerrin did an excellent job of covering the fundamentals of the Prince2 Agile Foundation in just three days. That’s no easy feat, given the amount of theory involved. Her broad and in-depth knowledge of both traditional Prince2 and all agile methods—especially Scrum—helped make the concepts clear and kept things interesting throughout. Enriched with real-world examples, the course fully met my expectations. I should have taken the two-day Prince2 Agile Practitioner course right after that.

A Successful Event

However, the change did not have any negative consequences. Excellent support at the venue, friendly staff, and the bike and Segway rentals were a great idea. A successful event!

The only flaw

The only downside is that the training is in German and the exam is in English. It would be great if both were in English. Otherwise, everything was great. Rute was really dedicated, responded very well to questions, and always had a practical example ready. She’s definitely a people person.
