Thomas not only gave us a good overview of the Scrum principles, but also provided me with an eye-opening insight into the roles of the Scrum Master and Product Owner (and the skills we'll need to put them into practice). All of my initial questions were answered during the training.

Combining the Scrum Master and Product Owner roles into a single course was a smart decision. Both perspectives complement each other—those who understand both roles work together much more effectively in practice. The training materials are well-structured, clear, and directly tailored to the exam requirements. The practice exams helped me recognize typical patterns of thinking in the exam: “What does the Scrum Guide say—not what I do in practice?” This shift in mindset is the real learning outcome.
I’d especially like to highlight Nancy as the facilitator: She conveyed complex concepts precisely and with real-world relevance, answered questions competently at all times, and created an atmosphere where participants felt comfortable asking for clarification. Her style is direct, engaging, and technically to the point—exactly what you need in an exam preparation course.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a direct path to PSM I and PSPO I.

Comprehensive Preparation for the PSM / PSPO Exam

The training with Arne gave me many helpful insights into Scrum. The examples he chose were very easy to follow and clear. Arne also took the time to address individual questions and was, overall, a very attentive and empathetic trainer. I highly recommend this training; not only do I feel well-prepared for the exam, but I’m also taking away a lot that will help me in my future work on the Scrum team.

Thank you, Arne, for the fantastic two days in Düsseldorf. The Scrum material was presented in an easy-to-understand way, with good examples and a touch of humor. It was a pleasure to listen to Arne! I highly recommend this course for certification preparation; I passed both exams on the first try using what I learned.
As a tip for others who are interested: The course is definitely aimed at people who are looking to gain an understanding of Vanilla Scrum and want to successfully earn their certification—rather than to learn about or discuss a broad range of industry best practices. With that in mind, it’s a clear 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you!!

She did a great job over the two days, especially by illustrating the material with good examples and conveying the content as clearly as possible, even though it is very complex.
I would be happy to take another course with her.

The online training course on Scrum Master and Product Owner was really good and informative. The course materials are exceptionally well-organized and visually appealing. And most importantly: Our trainer, Katharina, did a fantastic job of conveying the content! It was always interesting and very engaging; there were also plenty of practical examples, and there was always enough time for questions and discussion. What I also really liked was that it was consistently interactive—the simulation on the second day was very helpful and really helped me deepen my understanding of many aspects!
For the simulation, it would have been nice to have a little more time for the product backlog.
Overall, a 10/10 training course, and I’m happy to recommend it to others!

I recently took part in a two-day online training course to prepare for the PSM I & PSPO I certifications—it was concise, practical, and to the point.
We were a small group with only three participants, which allowed plenty of time for individual questions and discussion. The training was structured in a varied way: the workbook, presentation, group exercise, and discussion all complemented each other well. In terms of content, all key Scrum topics were covered—from roles to events to artifacts—always with a strong practical focus. Particularly memorable were the real-life examples, such as those from road cycling or developing a new pizza, which made the theoretical concepts tangible.
The trainer was absolutely compelling: highly knowledgeable, a clear communicator, and clearly genuinely enthusiastic about the subject. It was evident that she not only lives and breathes Scrum but also takes joy in sharing her knowledge.
One small area for improvement: An engaging exercise right after the lunch break on the first day would have made the transition into the afternoon a bit easier—this was also brought up by me and the other training participants in our feedback.
Conclusion: A training course I highly recommend—especially because of the fantastic trainer, who impressed us with her expertise, clarity, and enthusiasm.

Excellent online training

I’ve taken several online training courses, and this was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The main reason was, above all, the way Katharina presented the material—because it can quickly become too theoretical and tedious, but her clever incorporation of real-life stories and comparisons really broke up the monotony, making it easy to follow along at all times.
The group was great, too, since there were just a few of us, which made it easier to feel like part of the group.
All in all, a great training session with a great trainer and a great group.

Feedback on the Agile Foundation Training Course

I really enjoyed the training. Thomas’s presentation style was very engaging, and I was able to follow along easily.
The structure and the scheduled breaks were communicated from the start, so it was easy to plan accordingly. In terms of content, the first day’s session on Scrum served as a good review for me, and on the second day, we covered new topics like Kanban and SAFe, which gave me a good overview of those concepts.
The only thing: I think when it comes to Design Thinking, it really helps to try out this technique hands-on with an example—which is, of course, difficult in an online workshop.
I also found the course materials for filling out and taking notes to be very helpful.
All in all, I’m very satisfied and would like to thank you for the training!

Thomas gave an excellent introductory training session on Agile Foundations!
The presentation was professional, yet relaxed and humorous. The mix of lecture and interaction—including the workbook to fill out—was just right. The slides were also very professional yet casual, and they were perfectly aligned with the workbook.
The topics of Design Thinking and Kanban were perhaps a bit heavy on buzzwords, which is certainly due in part to the abstract nature of the subjects, but it might have been helpful to include an accompanying example for each, such as how they’re applied in a specific project.
Overall, though, I’m very satisfied and learned a lot!

Arne did a great job of explaining the dry material and enriched it with memorable examples. It was really fun. The group size was also ideal. The workbook is very good, and Arne’s tips on blogging are even better. The 320 practice questions were also helpful for getting used to the “logic” of the original American test questions. Somehow, though, I felt that the PO part was a little neglected.
But all in all, it was a very good experience that will keep me coming back to Serview. P.S.: I’m now a certified PO and Scrum Master, too.

As a beginner and newcomer to Agile and Scrum, I felt really comfortable with the trainer and the course content, and they did a great job of meeting my needs every step of the way.
The approach—which combines listening, active participation and asking questions, and a semi-completed worksheet that you fill out on the spot—adds tremendous value.
It was a bit of a bummer for me as a left-hander, though, because the workbook is quite thick, so I often had trouble writing.
I’ll definitely attend another training session there.

Andreas Lehmann did a great job of presenting the material and created a positive working atmosphere. The break schedule was well-planned!
The hotel was excellent in terms of service, amenities, and location. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, the food was excellent, and the snacks were (too) plentiful. We had to send a lot of food back because there was too much of it. Much smaller portions would have been sufficient for snacks.
I had expected a block of reservations reserved for the number of participants. If the hotel had been fully booked, it would have been difficult.
I received the information about the exact training location too late.

A very good training session—despite the large amount of information, it was very well organized and conducted. It was always interesting. She also always provided plenty of interesting and helpful examples and additional information.
I’ve attended several service training sessions, and this was the best one so far. I would recommend Katja anytime.
In general, I think there’s too much information for just two days.
